Jason,

Sounds like things are going great for you. Very exciting to move out of the city. I recently did the same - moved out of Dallas last March and to a small town south of the metroplex. Bought an old house - definite fixer-upper, but livable for the time being. I grew up in a small town and am loving being back in one (not the same one). Even with a 55 mile commute one way, it is definitely worth it. My wife, who grew up in Dallas (city girl), is adjusting very well and is enjoying it herself for the most part. That is probably facilitated by the fact she no longer works, I'm sure.

In the day job I'm still stuck in old legacy ASP stuff for the most part, but gradually getting to dip my toes in the .Net/C# world. Unfortunately around here that means .Net 2.0. I'm trying to get involved in more current technology around the edges of my spare time, but the older I get the less I want to spend my spare time "working".

Hi everyone. I still dabble with developing websites. I tried Twitter a year ago but gave it up. Learning Facebook this year and jury's still out on that one's usefulness. Installed new printer today. Dangerously approaching addiction to Mafia Wars. Spring has sprung in Southeast US, which means more yardwork to do coming up. Wink That's about it I guess. Was thinking about you and just thought I'd stop by to say hello. I'm glad the sight is still here. Even if traffic is low it feels good to find it each time I visit.
